QE Park Spring Lights Cherry Blossom Festival

Yesterday, Ben, Nanzaro and I went to the Spring Lights Cherry Blossom Festival at Queen Elizabeth Park.

The Spring Lights Festival was from dusk to dawn. We arrived around 7PM and it was not dark yet. We were very lucky to find a parking spot right away. Traffic was bad when we left the park as there were many cars and people trying to attend this festival despite the rain.

There were three food carts at the festival. One of them was McDonald’s giving away free coffee. The line to the food carts were long. We did not get anything from the food carts as we just had dinner.

We walked around QE Park to wait for the sky to darken in order to enjoy the lights gazing upon the cherry blossoms.

Here are the night shots.

There were some lanterns and people dancing in the park too.
