This is another home cooked comfort dish.
The above Steamed Egg with Minced Pork has a softer texture than just steamed minced pork.
- 4 eggs
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1/4 to 1/3 pound of minced pork, seasoned with a little salt, white pepper, soy sauce, rice wine and sesame oil
- chopped green onion
|Beat eggs in a large bowl.
Mix in minced pork and chicken broth and beat until minced pork is not lumpy.
|Place mixture into a pie plate.|
|Bring water to a boil in a wok. Steam egg mixture for 12 to 15 minutes on high until the egg is set and the pork is cooked.|
|Garnish with chopped green onion, a few drops of sesame oil and a teaspoon or two of light soy sauce.|
