Having a toothache can put a real damper on the day. While some toothaches require a dentist, there are many natural remedies for toothaches you can try.

Having a toothache can ruin your day. It can quickly become a Pain that prevents you from doing your normal day-to-day activities.

Although it’s best to go to your dentist when you have severe tooth pain, you can use Natural Remedies to help relieve your pain while you wait for the closest appointment.

Does this sound like something you would like to do? Then check out these natural remedies for toothaches.

Salt Water

Surprisingly, gargling salt water is a great way to fight the pain from your toothache. I’ve always had my kids swish salt water around in their mouths when they lose a tooth, so it makes sense that this miracle remedy works for a toothache too.

The salt water will help cleanse your mouth from bacteria that could be causing pain, as well as helping to reduce any swelling you might have. All of this will help reduce your pain.

Clove Oil

Cloves have been used as a natural anesthetic for many years. If you ask a grandparent or older relative, they might have stories about using clove oil before they would try aspirin or another pain reliever.

This solution really works, so the next time you have tooth pain, put some clove essential oil on some gauze and press it to your tooth. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your pain is dulled.

Master Tonic

Also called Fire Cider, the Master Tonic is known to be a natural remedy for a wide range of ailments. It can be used for just about everything.

We gave a bottle of Master Tonic to a friend with an infected tooth. He swished it around in his mouth every few hours for a few days and the infection cleared right up!

Ice Pack

The next time you have a toothache, put some crushed ice into a Ziploc bag. You can then put the bag on your tooth, alternating from putting it directly on your tooth and on your cheek or jaw closest to the tooth giving you pain.

Icing your toothache will help relieve your pain, making it bearable until you can go to your dentist.
