As more and more people choose to Shop online, the e-commerce industry continues to inevitably become competitive which in turn offers increased options for consumers. For a discerning consumer, it all comes down to which online shop offers the most bang for the buck. Now this may refer to discounts and sales, selection, customer service which includes shipping charges and such depending on your preference. After years of being an avid fashion follower which eventually led me to becoming a trend spotter attending shows and writing for a fashion magazine, I must say I’ve eventually grown out of the “thrift shopper phase” in which I’d enthusiastically Google the designer or brand I’m eyeing and skim through the list to see who offers the best deal on it, or numbingly go straight to the sales section and randomly pick out things that I would never have given a second glance if they weren’t on sale… After more than something like a ten garbage bags worth of lesson, I’ve realized that it’s best to first figure out what your style is (which of course takes time and experimentation), and if the particular season happens to Offer things that spark your interest and if that feeling kind of seems mutual and to stays around a bit, it’s best to invest in it (or them, if multiple) because the chance is, they will be gone by the time you go through the virtual sales rack- because you know what, if you thought it was cute, others probably did too. It’s about who moves faster in fashion.
On that note, I wanted to introduce a relatively new online shopping platform that combines many of the top reasons why people love shopping online- it’s a one stop shop that offers premium brands and designer labels ranging from luxury, high end to emerging, international, casual and even the basics that you cannot live without: Hiphunters offers more than 6,000 designer brands through a sub-shop called Hiphunters Market where you will spot all kinds of awesome rare finds such as these artistic jewelry resembling miniature sculptures, gorgeous shoes to keep you dancing all night, and basics (I mean, I’d literally live this dress and never take it off) that not only will keep you comfortable but help you not looking like a conventional couch potato. In addition, you also have access to their affiliate shops such as Matchesfashion that offers your favorite designer pieces or those you’ve been dreaming about since spotting them on Kendall Jenner or Gigi- you know the things you see over and over again in your Tumblr feed, yeah, the stuff that your favorite bloggers take pictures of with their food.
Here are my personal favorites that I’m dangerously daydreaming about: Misa wide-leg trousers by The Row, Paolina wide-lapel coat by Stella Mccartney, Josh wide-leg trousers by Stella McCartney, Lyneth Wrap-front mini skirt by Isabel Marant Etoile, Crew-neck cashmere sweater by Joseph, Sac De Jour baby suede tote by Saint Laurent. Many of them seem to be on sale at the moment so this must be your lucky day! haha, I mean how often does that happen, your most coveted things on sale?
Go check it out and let me know how you like it- I’m already hooked and this is not a good sign as I’ve been on a mission to get rid of things and keep my wardrobe super minimal.
Happy holidays! sorry I’ve been gone for so long- girl’s got to deal with, you know, the 99 problems. hugs and kisses*
