I treated myself to some lovely (but expensive) Badedas bubble Bath yesterday because it’s supposed to be amazingly Relaxing and soothing which is just what I need right now. I waited until last night to use it in the hope that everyone else would be occupied with other things so I could have a complete relax but it wasn’t to be!
Here’s an almost live blog of my bath….
The bath’s ready and it smells amazing, just the smell alone is starting to relax me. I can’t wait to get in so I strip off and step into those bubbles.
I sink down into the masses of gorgeous smelling bubbles and lay back with my Eyes Shut, feeling the stress start to leave me.
I hear a bedroom door open but I refuse to open my eyes as I’m too busy relaxing.
I can hear someone in the bathroom but I’m still refusing to open my eyes in the hope that they’ll go away.
Nope, they’re not going anywhere so I give in and open my eyes to find Master Frugal stood there with his back to me.
‘What?’ I ask, hoping for something simple.
‘I want to go on SIMs 4 but Miss F won’t let me use her laptop!’ he says.
I tell him that I’ll Sort it when I get out of my bath and he leaves the room (by leaves the room I mean he leaves with dramatic sighs, a few stomps and a tut followed by a slammed door).
Oh well, back to relaxing for me now.
Another door opens and again, I keep my eyes closed determined to relax.
I then jump out of my skin as something viciously attacks my head.
The attack turns out to be Miss Frugal deciding to ‘pamper’ me with some sort of head massage. I ask her to stop as it feels like some sort of torture and she kindly stops and leaves the room quietly.
Oh my, she’s back and this time she’s brought a pillow and a bag of tricks with her.
She sits herself down on the pillow and proceeds to start eating a tub of chopped mango while telling me about what she’s been up to lately. I love to hear all about what’s going on in her world so I listen to her with one ear and close my eyes and try to at least half relax.
It appears that she’s trying to feed me mango chunks now so I eat a couple and she leaves the room again.
This could be my chance to relax so I squeeze my eyes shut and try to shut out the various banging noises I can now hear.
I’m now in the middle of a coughing fit as there is a LOT of fragrance being sprayed upstairs.
Miss Frugal calls her brother in to stand outside the bathroom door and provide me with some sort of Relaxing Music so he obliges with his iPad. After two failed attempts at finding relaxing music (Horrid Henry and Jason Derulo are not relaxing FYI) he gives up trying to find music on his iPad and starts to sing instead. The first song sounds suspiciously like the Boro song and the second was supposed to be relaxing birdsong but was actually just him whistling.
Miss Frugals back now holding a towel up for me.
I don’t want to get out yet but apparently there’s a surprise waiting and I need to get out quickly so I decide to write this bath off as a non relaxing experience and get out.
7.10 – 7.35pm
I’m being pampered and I’m told that the fragrance from a few minutes ago was all part of the spa atmosphere!
My feet are massaged (who knew there were so many pain points in a foot).
My nails are painted.
I have about twenty different creams rubbed in to various parts of my body while Master Frugal continues with his birdsong noises mixed in with the occasional Boro tune.
I’m left on my own in the quiet smelling like something I can’t quite describe and there’s a slight throbbing pain in one of my feet from the massage.
I’m not relaxed in the slightest but I’m happy.
