Until recently, I had no idea that there were so many benefits to being an Amazon Prime member so I thought I’d share a few of my favourite Amazon Prime benefits with you today.
I originally bought Amazon Prime about 18 months ago when a couple of the Xbox games that Master Frugal had added to his Christmas wishlist were actually cheaper for Amazon Prime members. It was the first time I’d come across this difference in price and over the two games, it was just short of £20 difference. I’d been umming and aahing for a little while about signing up simply because of the free one-day delivery and the Kindle Lenders Library scheme so this helped me make my decision and I decided to go for it!
So, we know that having an Amazon Prime Account can save you money on things like delivery costs and the everyday deals that only Amazon Prime members can access but not many people realise that there are many more benefits to being an Amazon Prime member than what meets the eye.
Here are just a few of the Amazon Prime benefits that you may not even know exist…
Amazon Prime Share Account
Did you know that you can share your Amazon Prime account with up to two other adults in the same household? I had no idea that this was a benefit of being an Amazon Prime member. Go into account settings, manage your content, devices, settings, holds and family library then invite adult. This will allow you to add up to two adults that live at the same address as you to enjoy Amazon Prime benefits.
This is something that has Master Frugal’s full attention! Twitch is a gaming website and if you’re an Amazon Prime member then you’re eligible for Twitch Prime which gives you free downloadable content on popular games (we just got a free skin for Fortnite which means nothing to me but was awesome to Master Frugal) along with pre-orders, subscriptions to channels and an ad-free viewing experience of the gaming streams.
Download Free Music
With your Amazon Prime member account, you not only can stream music over your device but download eligible free music – and with over 2 million songs to choose from you know you’re going to find something you like. This is the perfect way to enjoy some music anytime, anywhere when you’re away from having access to being logged into your Amazon Prime account. This is really cool to use when I need to be disconnected from Wi-Fi but want to hear my music.
Photo Prints to Your Door
While you may (or may not) know about the unlimited photo storage with your Amazon Prime account, did you also know about the inexpensive options for photo prints? As an Amazon Prime member, you can gain access to deals for inexpensive photo prints, cards, calendars and more all shipped right to your door using Amazon Prints.
Early Access to eBooks
Amazon Prime Members are able to have advanced access to eBooks that are not yet out to the general public. If you’re a bookworm who enjoys reading eBooks then this benefit is surely something that will make your day, if you didn’t know about it. This benefit is called Kindle First and you can find it in your Amazon Prime account.
Order Food and More
Amazon Prime members can easily order food and other household items without much hassle. Some of the food and household items you’ll find in your Amazon Prime account are well worth the savings and in turn help you to live more frugally. This was a huge benefit to me when we’re sick and simply can’t leave the home for our food items.
I hope this information is useful and you’ll be able to be more frugal by taking advantage of these Amazon Prime Benefits that I just found out about.
