Remember my cool little Christmas poster maker last year?  It’s back and this year it’s even better!  It’s even better because it’s completely FREE!

I first thought of the idea for this last year when I was off work ill and I hired a web designer to make my idea into an actual thing and I’ll be honest, it wasn’t cheap.  I really wanted it though so I decided to go with it and to pass on a small charge to whoever bought it in an attempt to cover my costs.  As soon as I got to that point, I didn’t feel comfortable charging for it as I wouldn’t be a great frugal blog if I tried to part you from your cash.

I took it down for a while so I could have a think about what I wanted to do with it – I considered charging a nominal charge or making it available for subscribers only but in the end, I’ve decided just to go for it and make it free for everyone to use.  It seems like a nice way to thank you all for reading and commenting over the years.

Anyway, I know it’s not Christmas yet but I’m so excited to relaunch it that I thought I’d make a couple of versions suitable for this time of year – I have one featuring all of our favourite Autumn activities and one filled with the reasons that I have to be thankful.

It looks amazing in a simple frame (I got some lovely ones from the pound shop that are great for this) and they really are personalised to our family as you can see:

It’s super easy to make your own using this amazing little widget!

Try and go for around 15 phrases to make it look good and don’t go for single words or very short phrases otherwise it will look a bit off and won’t line up!

This would make an amazing gift but I’d definitely recommend making one for yourself and I’d really love you to have a go at making one of your own for your home!  Do let me know in the comments if you do or even better, tag me in any Instagram photos (I’m @frugalfamily on there) so I can see.

I think I might do a few posts over the next few months to highlight the great things you can use this for – for yourself and as a gift.  Last year I use ours to make a Valentine’s gift, a Birthday present for Miss Frugal as well as making loads as Christmas presents for people.

PS – I’m so happy for you to use this for your own personal use but this is not to be sold on and I don’t want anyone making a profit from it as it’s a free resource. I hope everyone will respect that.
