This month I’m going to be working with the lovely guys from Homesense (part of the TK Maxx family) to share some of the really great things they sell with you.   I’ll be sharing on Social Media too using the hashtag #HomesenseFinds so do come and find me to see all my photos.

In case you’ve never been in to your local Homesense, it’s one of those places where there are different things in stock every time you go in.  They sell everything from one off quirky pieces to everyday essentials – all at great prices.

I’m a regular in our local Homesense as you probably already know if you’ve been following me for a while as I’ve often mentioned some of the bargains I’ve found in there in my weekly ‘Five Frugal Things’ posts.  Recent ‘practical’ finds that I’ve shared with you have been my bedding which was half the price in Homesense than it was online and my bathroom makeover which was completely done using accessories and towels from there.

Today though, I’m not going to focus on the practical grown up things you can buy in there, instead I’m going to show you some of the pretty things I’ve been buying.

I Love the individuality of the things you find in Homesense and the fact that the majority of things aren’t mass produced or stocked in bulk means that I know that the quirky things I come across are going to be quite individual to me.  I’ve Bought things from other places that I’ve loved before and then seen it all over Instagram or even worse, in my friends houses.

I’m totally in love with these guys!  There were five of them in the shop and because it looks as though they’re hand made out of glass, each one was a little bit different in colour, shape and pattern.  I picked one up and Mr Frugal made me laugh by adding another one in saying that one would be lonely. I’ve never seen anything like this before and they really are making a bit of a statement in the corner of the kitchen.

Have a look in the picture at the top of this post to see just how big they are as they’re definitely bigger than they look.  And while you’re looking up there, I have a beautiful little ten minute egg timer which has loveliest pink sand in there.  I bought this for no reason other than I loved it and thought it would look good with the flamingos.  Everyone who’s been in my house since I got this has automatically gravitated to it and has turned it over and stood and stared at the sand for a few seconds.

Next up is the most amazing smelling candle ever!

This candle smells amazing but that’s not why I bought it if I’m totally honest!  I bought it because I loved the pink of the container and the rose gold lid.  I’m torn between never wanting to light it as I don’t want it to run out and lighting it and burning it as quick as possible so I can turn the pink glass container into a trinket dish of some kind.

And now for the random prettiness!

I have a new mug that you’ll no doubt see on Instagram lots over the next few months as it’s the perfect size for a giant morning cuppa – I love the shiny pineapple design on it and it’s already my favourite mug!

I also bought a notepad with a flamingo on it and some motivational pens that say ‘You got this’, ‘Make Magic Happen’ and ‘Hells Yeah’ so I’ll be feeling super motivated when I write my to do lists from now on!

The last thing I want to share with you today is my gorgeous new flask for work!  It has flamingos on it which leads me to believe I have a bit of a flamingo obsession going on but as long as it helps me take my homemade soups to work for lunch then I won’t worry too much.
