So Who Was Neville Goddard?

Neville Goddard was born in Barbados in 1905 and he died in 1972, just a year after I was born.

Neville drew the conclusion that reality was created from our imagination. Everything we can imagine can be brought into our reality. Sound a bit Sci-fi? That’s was makes it all so fascinating.

I heard about Neville Goddard a few years ago. I can’t remember how I came to read his works. After reading one piece though, I as hooked. Why? Because I get it completely. It made sense of all of the weird experiences I’d had that I had always put down to coincidence.

Coincidence is Weirder Than Creation

Is it not way more unlikely that things I had imagined had come to life pretty much exactly as I had pictured them? Even down to the words people uttered.

Neville had an out of body experience earlier on in his life and it was this that lead him to question reality. This is the thing isn’t it? It’s all down to our own experiences.

If you are fascinated by the theory that everything in our lives right now is there of our own making then I urge you to have a listen to one of Neville Goddard’s Youtube Videos. This one perhaps?

Neville Goddard Books

I think I have read all of Neville’s books now. I have them in my Amazon library and on occasion I will go back to one or other of them. Not often now it has to be said. Why? because I am so practised at this creating my own reality thing that I don’t feel the need to.

Can We Really Create Things With Our Mind?

All I can go from is my own experience. So Yes I can and I have. I wanted to be an author and I am now an author. I understood the imagination thing and the intending. However, I found it hard to imagine that little me really could be an author so I toned it down a bit. I thought of myself as a writer as this seemed easier for subconscious to turn into a possibility. I thought of my books as a business rather than me as an author. I imagined that I was starting a new company. That’s what I do in any case. I have my own business and in fact have had another fashion retail business in the past. So I understand that. I CAN do that. It felt attainable that way. It was. Once I manifested it into my experience I pretty much knew that I could do it with anything.

Real Life is Stranger Than Fiction

Once you get your head around the fact that reality is mental, it all starts happening. I let go of the notion that there was such a thing as cause and effect. That life was randomly happening to me and there was nothing that I could do to stop it happening in the way that it was. Neville made me realise what I had always known but wasn’t brave enough to say out loud. We make things happen with our imagination when it’s combined with real feeling.
