“There is massive deployments of policemen into the field ahead of the Salah celebration. The Anti-bomb department and head of all tactical units of command have been deployed to all the major and minor mosques, banks, recreation parts and all places of public concerns in the state.

“There was a mini rehearsal during our management meeting this morning (Friday). We are prepared and ready to secure the state. The answer is visibility policing and we have deployed our men to all Automated Teller Machine points and all places there would huge human and vehicle movements. Imo is a no go area for trouble makers. We are not alone, we are collaborating with all the security Agencies to ensure that Imo witnesses a high free Salah celebration “The CP explained.

The Police boss added that Nigeria is one and every tribe must work for the unity of the country.

He said, “Police are aware that there is apprehension, not only in South East but in Nigeria because of the quit notice and the responses, but we must be our brothers’ keepers. Our Muslim brothers are safe and secured in Imo State. As policemen, we will protect them and secure that they enjoy the celebration “Ezike added.
