In aid of the Club’s official charity, Liverpool FC Foundation. Liverpool FC Legends will take on the legends of Bayern Munich on Saturday 24th March, 2018 at Anfield.
Liverpool FC Ambassador, Robbie Fowler will captain the Reds side aiming for another Legends victory in front of the Kop. LFC’s top goal scorer, Ian Rush, will act as player manager for the LFC Legends. He will lead a dazzling team of players, that includes: Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Luis Garcia, Dirk Kuyt, Gary McAllister and Jerzy Dudek. Ian Rush is keeping his game plan under wraps, but did reveal that Xabi Alonso will be playing for both sides: confusing yet entertaining. Bayern Munich’s team will also include some amazing football stars.
The aim of the LFC Foundation is to create life changing opportunities for children and young people. A £225,000 donation to Alder Hey Children’s Charity helped to fund the hospital’s new research, innovation and education facility. LFC fans helped to raise over £1m in last year’s legends’ match. These funds benefit thousands of children and young people in Merseyside and further afield.
Tickets for the game are priced at £20 for Adults, £5 for Juniors and £15 for those over 65.
