Hey! I hope you are doing great. Hows winter treating you? Well! I love winters and I love staying in my quilt for hours and reading my favorite Book. So, I recently finished reading The Perils of Being Moderately Famous which is written by none other than Soha Ali Khan.
You must have seen her in the movies like Rang de basanti, Tum Mile (which is one of my all time favorites) and many such. I really liked her work in Tum Mile and I don’t understand why she is still being called as Saif Ali Khan’s sister or Kareena Kapoor Khan’s sister-in-law or things like that instead of just being called as SOHA ALI KHAN.

Book Review:
I just got finished with reading Soha Ali Khan’s newly launched book titled “The Perils of Being Moderately Famous” which is a collection of humorous stories on her life, family, as a child, growing up & as she calls herself being ‘moderately famous’. Also, I would personally call it visual storytelling because of the expressive pictures inside the book helped me recognize her entire family and relate to her more.
I loved going through the beautiful pictures of hers, her family, marriage and her cute little baby. I was really fascinated by the collection of stories that left me speechless and teary. Also, for me her writing seem so honest and heart touching. There are a lot of Awww… moments and hence, those kept me gripped throughout the read.

I personally loved reading a few chapters the most which are “Big Shoes Small Feet”, “All Roads Lead to Saifeena” & Worth the Weight. Being her first book she has really done a great job. Also, writing and sharing one’s own life like this takes a lot of courage and not everyone has got the guts to go out and do it.
I couldn’t find a chapter in the book which I would skip or find boring.

Book Cover: People do judge the book by its cover most of the times and I wouldn’t call it the bad one here, but it could have been more appealing and attractive. Also, I am the one who does not judge the book by its cover and I read synopsis instead. So, it’s completely okay for me.
Other than that, I also found this book really engaging and I could relate to the book completely.
Also, I would love to read more books by her in future too if she continue to write more.

Soha Ali Khan is an Indian film actor who has appeared in movies such as Rang De Basanti, Tum Mile and Go Goa Gone. She studied modern history at Balliol College, Oxford, and earned a masters’ degree in international relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Also, she is the youngest daughter of actor Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the ninth nawab of Pataudi. Both her father and paternal grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, were former captains of the Indian cricket team. She is Saif Ali Khan’s younger daughter and she’s married to actor Kunal Kemmu.
