Everyday Natural Beauty

If you ask any Makeup guru each one of them will say that makeup is like a piece of art, taking time and precision to make a masterpiece. Although I love to play with my makeup and see what colour works well with my skin tone and what doesn't, I have found that I much prefer sticking with neutral colours to complete a more natural look.
1. Moisturise
(An important step not to be forgotten!)
Applying makeup to a bare face can extremely harm your skin and leave it open for spots to develop. Therefore, applying a light base before applying the makeup can reduce this effect while also providing protection from the sun!
2. Primer
I'll be honest and say I have never used a primer before but I decided to try it out and see the difference it makes... and it makes a difference. I have found that this primer from Collection has allowed my Foundation to stay in tack throughout the day and not costing a fortune.
3. Foundation
Another purchase from collection that provides a 'photo finish' look. This foundation can be caky if applied by itself, but can be absolutely amazing when combined with another foundation!
        * Cool Beige 3 *
I therefore apply it with my Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation which balances out the texture of the other foundation and provides me with the right coverage and skin tone for my face.
     * Shade 6.5 *
4. Finishing Powder
I allow my foundation to set for a few minutes before applying a finishing powder to further keep it in contact. This powder is from the B collection in Superdrug and I use a sponge to apply it around my face (allow for this powder to set for a few minutes as well)
5. 3 in 1 Naked Face
 My Favourite! This little beauty has it all. Bronzer/ contour, highlighter and a blush! Good for on the go and touch ups.
6. Mascara
The mascara that everyone talks about, The Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara....and yes it is as good as people have said. Although at times I do find it clumpy when applying a lot of mascara, a small amount can, therefore, go a long way and provide you with full & long lashes.
7.  Lipstick
Sometimes I may want to make the lip colour look a little darker, I therefore apply the tiniest amount of Colourpop matte liquid lipstick (Perky) on top of them.
Brushes i use...
(Left to right)
1. Foundation Brush
2. Contour Brush
3. Highlighter Brush
4. Blush Brush
And there you go! thats my everyday natural makeup look. This is one of my favourite looks and am happy to say i get compliments on it :)
