Finding others and makeing new friends living the RV lifestyle.
While reading a fellow RV Lifestyle blogger website, I came across a website that I think would benefit other people who are living the RV lifestyle. Last month I wrote an article: 11 Great Ways To Introduce Yourself In A RV Community. I was very happy that the Serendipitous Journeys blog led me to find another great website that can be of help to people new to the RV Lifestyle. The last thing most people w ant is to feel alone when beginning a new journey.I hope this helps out, even a little.
This was my Friday Find
Originally, I was reading through posts on Serendipitous Journeys. This blog is a RV family blog. I enjoyed reading about the renovations done to their RV. I am always interested in renovations. The ability to make your RV unique and perfect for your life on the road will ultimately make you more comfortable. A more comfortable you is a more creative and productive you. It is one of the great benefits to being in your RV as opposed to renting. I understand that this lifestyle isn’t for everyone, but for the chosen few. This is definitely the best.
While visiting their website and blog, I also noticed that they were a part of RVillage . When I visit blogs I like to know more about the people I am reading about, and I like to know if there is anything I can learn while I am there. I had not heard of the RVillage and was intrigued. I specifically liked that the link said that there were more like us. Although I have met about thirteen new people since we started our own journey back in september. It is usually very sporadic. We are usually surrounded by fifteen to twenty people when out on BLM land, and more than five hundred when we are in a RV community. But this peaked my interest enough to leave the blog.
I found that RVillage was the brain child of one of my husband and my inspirations. Technomedia. We have learned so much from watching their videos and reading posts from them. I personally had no idea until I typed RVillage into google. Three links down in google was an article and link about technomedia starting this space for meeting other RV lifestyle enthusiasts. Not only that but, you have the option of including your location and finding others near you. There are also blogs for information and since we have and still follow these guys on you tube, I had to look at their articles, but that is just me. There were also useful videos like this one:
This was one of the videos that RVillage allows other bloggers to use on their sites. So far this has been a great experience with this new site. I have to ask my husband before I post our location to see who else is in the area close to us. This was such a great idea. And it goes well with introducing yourself in an RV community. This is taking those small steps in my article online and opening up a whole new way of meeting others.
The wrap up.
Although this site and others like it have been around for years, if you have just started your own RV journey, this is a great step for you to meet others and learn from people who have been doing this for years.
Good luck to all of you and hopefully you know that you are not alone in your RV lifestyle or in the many RV communities that are around the United States.
