Tour de France - Bicycle race


 The Tour de France is an annual multi-stage bicycle race for men that takes place largely in France, but also occasionally travels through neighbouring nations. It has 21 stages, each lasting a day, over the course of 23 days. The Amaury Sport Organisation presently manages the race, which was initially organised in 1903 July 01 to boost sales for the newspaper L'Auto. With the exception of the two World Wars, the event has been held every year since its inaugural edition in 1903. The race was expanded as the Tour grew in stature and popularity, and its influence grew internationally. As more riders from around the world started to compete in the race each year, the field grew from a predominately French one. The Tour is a UCI World Tour event.It has evolved into "the biggest annual sporting event in the world." Every year it will start by July 1 and will extend to another 23 days. This year, it will start at 01st July to 24th July 2022. 

This 2022 edition is also have a surprise for female cyclist as Tour de France Femmes (cycling Race for Female cyclists) is going to stage its first version.

23 men teams are participating in this 2022 edition. Last year team "ALPECIN - FENIX" of Belgium won the first rank.

most of the mountain stage routes are having atleast 130 km this time.
