You’re Going To Want A Replica Of Your House Made From Legos, STAT

These awesome houses made out of Legos are a sight to see

If you are a person, odds are at some point in your life you’ve either seen someone play with LEGO’s or played with LEGO’s yourself. There are LEGOLAND theme parks, LEGOLAND Discovery Centers, and now there is a person who will make you a very own exact replica of your house out of — you guessed it — LEGOS.

Shari Austrian from Rye Brook, New York has an Etsy Shop called Little Brick Lane. On it, she creates magical miniature houses that look just like the real thing — but tinier.  She’s just recently launched her business online and has had good success so far.

“To date, I have completed 4 LEGO models for family and friends,” Austrian told Scary Mommy. “I just launched Little Brick Lane at the end of 2017 to spread the joy of this whimsical art form to other peoples’ lives.” Though she’s not affiliated with the company in any way, it’s clear she has a love of all things LEGO.

According to her site, your brand new wee house will take 8-10 weeks to produce and the results are nothing short of spectacular. Just look at the tiny kitchen and tiny fridge and tiny little stove. Who knew a kitchen you cook in night after night for your kids who don’t actually eat anything you make for them could be this adorable?

It turns out this is one of her favorite rooms, too. “I love building kitchens.  I use some of the less conventional Lego pieces and I am able to transform them into miniature cabinets and appliances,” Austrian told us. “I also love working on landscapes, although Lego is still limited in its’ plant offerings at this point.”

Austrian says that she uses “architectural plans and photographs to build home models with both exterior and interior details,” and only builds with new LEGO pieces. Her models are built on 48 x 48 stud base plates and can weigh anywhere from 25 and 35 pounds.

The bonus? It looks like those puppies are glued in tight so there is no chance of stepping on tiny pieces when you are barefoot and least expect it. Because let’s be honest, no adult is bringing any more LEGOS into their homes if there is a remote chance of stepping on another damn LEGO.

But let’s be clear here — you’re gonna want to keep these far, far away from all children, pets, and clumsy family members because these puppies will set you back anywhere from $1500 to over $4000 depending on the size of your actual pad so you’re gonna want to really like LEGOS. And plan on staying in your house forever.

These mini casas are too cute for words plus you’re supporting a small, woman-owned business. It’s a win-win.
