Ryan Coogler has blazed the big screen with both ‘Black Panther’ and follow-up ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’
Now, the director is reportedly turning his attention to television with a brand new take on ‘The X-Files.’

Speaking in an interview with On the Coast with Gloria Macarenko, ‘X-Files’ creator Chris Carter appeared to confirm a revival of the show helmed by Coogler.
He said:
“I just spoke to a young man… Ryan Coogler… who is going to remount The X-Files with a diverse cast. So he’s got his work cut out for him, because we covered so much territory.”
The original run of ‘The X-Files’ was headlined by Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny.
