Superstar actor Jonathan Majors, star of ‘Creed III’ and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ may be enjoying his personal best run at the box office yet but what’s been a stain-free ride came to a crashing halt Saturday (March 25) when he was arrested in New York City for an alleged domestic dispute with a woman later reported to be his girlfriend.

According to a statement from the New York Police Department (NYPD), they responded to a 911 call inside of an apartment and determined that a 33-year-old male (Majors) was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female.

The victim, whose name has not been released, reported to police she was assaulted and had sustained minor injuries to her head and neck. She was removed from the scene to an area hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

Identifying Majors as the perpetrator, he was arrested and charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment.

Shortly after the story made headlines a rep took to press to defend the actor’s name.

“He has done nothing wrong,” the person from Jonathan’s camp said. “We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”

As of time reported Majors nor the alleged victim have issued a statement about the matter.
