Wizkid‘s Winning streak shows no signs of slowing.
After more than a decade of dominance, the Afrobeats titan is broke down global barriers with his blockbuster album ‘Made In Lagos’ and its seismic hit ‘Essence’ featuring Tems.
The success of both has been especially resonant in the UK, where the superstar has nabbed a number of notable certifications.

Per the BPI, ‘Essence’ has officially Certified Gold in the region for equivalent sales in the region of 400,000 units.
Meanwhile, Starboy’s ‘Made In Lagos’ LP received a Silver certification for equivalent sales of 200,000 units.
The news comes on the heels of the summer scorcher nabbing a top 10 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and Wizkid’s nominations at the forthcoming 2022 GRAMMYs.
Toasting to his UK fans, Surulere’s finest shared a clip of his three sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena with the caption:
