Looking for opinions on Ebay horn

Tags: opinion ebay gold
I just found a used (age uncertain), 3+1, compensating, euphonium, with trigger, on Ebay for $1000 (shipping included). Silver with gold accents. I am not crazy about two toned horns, but for a good price, I may be willing to overlook it. The pictures make the gold look less "orange" than I have seen in some pictures online. Hard to tell how much is simply influenced by the lighting set up used when the pictures were taken. Mouthpiece missing, but that is relatively easy to remedy.

It is being sold by a non-musician, but they have been speedy answering my questions and providing more pictures via email. We have had a conversation via email even. They have a 100% feedback rating, but it does not look like they have much history selling musical instruments.

I reviewed several posts on this forum and the Musikhaus Thomann brand seems to be well respected. I could not tell if it was a JinBao stencil or not. Not that I mind, as my baritone is a JinBao. I just want to know what I am getting before I talk money. I wanted to get the opinions of the folks here. Suggestions, comments, advice?
