From my eBay posting - "This Meinl Weston 551 euphonium is offered in excellent condition having had a chemical clean, hand polish, change in corks/felts, and valve piston alignment as of 14 Nov 2017. The 551S model features a completely re-designed heavy gold brass bell and an all round optimization in intonation - especially on the 6th and 3rd partial. The tone on this instrument is warm, dark, and projects a big sound. Bore 590in (4th valve .669in) and a bell diameter of 11.8 inches. The 551 is exclusively offered in silver plated and is accented with gold-plated top and bottom valve caps. The stainless steel valve pistons, as you will see in the picture, are in excellent condition. Comes with water catchers for valves 1-3 and 4, Bach 5G mouthpiece, and lightweight hard case in excellent condition. New, these are sold for approximately $7,600. Get this instrument at a fraction just in time for Tuba Christmas."
Unlike my eBay posting, however; I will sell it here for $3,800 + shipping if anyone is interested. This is a re-posting here now with a newly cleaned/polished and calibrated instrument and pictures to show. Thank you for looking!
