Songwriter Alex Greggs Sues Ariana Grande Over ‘One Last Time’

Songwriter Alex Greggs claims Ariana Grande’s song ‘One Last Time’ stole the chorus to his song ‘Takes All Night’

Ariana Grande is being by Songwriter Alex Greggs who claims that her 2014 hit “One Last Time” steals both the chorus and synthesizer arrangements from his own song “Takes All Night,” released in 2011. Greggs filed the lawsuit on this past Tuesday and is demanding royalties for the song.

A well-established songwriter within the music industry, Alex Greggs caught his big break when he co-write several songs off of NSYNC’s album No Strings Attached. Since then, he has gone on to penn songs for numerous artists such as Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and Michael Jackson.

“Takes All Night” was released in 2011 through RockSociety Records. The song was written for and performed by EDM artist Skye Stevens. Listen to the track and decide for yourself.
