Adding to the list of past successful efforts including “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough 2017,” “I’m Coming Out / Upside Down 2018,” and “The Boss 2019,” Diana Ross is returning with another contemporary edit in the form of “Love Hangover 2020” that holds down the #1 Breakout position on this week’s Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
The original #1-charting “Love Hangover” was recorded in 1975 and fit into multiple categories including Pop, R&B and Dance. The current revamp, coming courtesy of Universal Music, has been mixed by none other than frequent Ross collaborator and Club Culture heavyweight Eric Kupper. The artist/DJ/producer put a new twist on the initial edition to bring it into the modern era with a hot dance edit.
Stay tuned for more news regarding “Love Hangover 2020” and how it progresses on the chart. Until then, listen to the original below.
