Heather Small’s ‘Moving On Up’ Locks Down #20* Spot On Billboard’s Dance Chart

After previously achieving the #1* position on a 1993 edition of the Billboard Dance chart, Heather Small, along with help from Dirty Disco and Matt Consola are back with a new version of “Moving On Up” that holds this week’s #20* spot.

Originally created by M People and featured on their second album, Elegant Slumming , “Moving On Up” has received a 2019 revamp that comes courtesy of Swishcraft music. The English soul singer, backed by club culture elite DJ/producers Dirty Disco and Dirty Werk, upped the ante to offer editions geared to the contemporary dance audience.

The new takes keep essential elements of the original intact but update all the rest for exciting and fresh recordings that many will find fitting on any dance floor around the world. Listen to this week’s #20* song on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart “Moving On Up” here.
