Ed Sheeran Experiences Virtual Reality In ‘Cross Me’ Video: Watch

Nearly a month after the track’s release, Ed Sheeran has unloaded the video for his unlikely Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock-assisted collaboration “Cross Me.”

The Ryan Staake-directed clip is filled with 3-D animations, seeing the three lyricists only existing in virtual reality. Ed dances around with his heart literally beating out of his chest at one point in the visual and Chance finds himself as a Mortal Kombat fighter, before the scene quickly switches to him sliding into home plate on a baseball diamond. PnB Rock makes appearances throughout to accent his own vocals.

“Cross Me” is the second single from Sheeran’s anticipated No. 6 Collaborations project. The effort is peppered with unique pairings from a range of genres throughout. Look for cameos from Khalid, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Meek Mill, and many more. Until then, watch the official video for the Warner Music-released recording below.
