Silk City & Dua Lipa’s ‘Electricity’ Edges To #2 On Billboard Dance Chart

The Silk City x Dua Lipa collaboration “Electricity” has bumped higher up in the Billboard Dance Club Singles chart’s Top 5 from #3* Greatest Gainer to #2* after a previous move from #8* to #6* Greatest Gainer.

The progress of the Columbia Records release was made in part, due to the newly-released MK remix which uses chopped vocals and reworked piano throughout to create an intense dance floor heater. The MK version adds to the list of expertly-executed remixes by Pink Panda, Dirty Disco and Black Madonna. Find the MK remix here.

The original mix currently boasts a whopping 121,000,000+ plays just on Spotify whereas the official video which shows Dua going from lone dancer to dance floor commander has amassed over 47,000,000 views.

Listen to Lipa’s chorus, “And I would stop the world for you and I / I wanna let you know, I’ll never let this feeling go / This love has no ceiling, I cannot deny,” along with the production provided by Diplo and Mark Ronson in the video for “Electricity” below.
