Christina Aguilera and her scorcher “Accelerate” have officially reached the #1* spot on the Billboard Dance Club Singles chart. The track follows in the footsteps of the super-talented vocalist’s former #1* Billboard Dance Club single, “Telepathy” featuring Nile Rodgers of Chic.
To date, the chart-topping song has accrued over 12,000,000 plays on Spotify as well as 16,000,000+ streams on the official music video. The RCA release has received club-ready remixes from DICEY & Faraoh Black (that features the keyboard line from Crystal Waters’ Gypsy Woman), John “J-C” Carr as well as Pink Panda and Funk Essentials.
With Christina’s vocals on the chorus reading, “Accelerate; come on, babe – pick up your speed, Stamina, fill em up, that’s what I need,” showcasing her rap prowess and Ty Dolla $ign‘s backing vocals increasing the hype even further, it is evident why “Accelerate” has reached the #1* position.
