Summer: The Donna Summer Musical takes the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre stage for its opening night tonight (April 23rd).

The show follows Diva Donna (played by Tony-winning actress LaChanze) as she looks back at her life during a concert. Ariana DeBose (of A Bronx Tale and Hamilton) and newcomer Storm Lever play younger versions of Summer, with DeBose portraying the musical titan during her chart-topping era, as Disco Donna.

To celebrate The Donna Summer Musical, DeBose curated her own playlist of disco tracks. Some of the selections are DeBose’s favorites by the likes of Diana Ross, Jamiroquai and The Brothers Johnson, while she also added famous Donna Summer songs of course. Listen to the playlist below.
