Ariana Grande has released her first song since a 2017 terrorist attack during her concert in the United Kingdom.
The 24-year-old teased the video for “No Tears Left to Cry” on Instagram on Thursday, then launched the video on YouTube overnight. The futuristic video, directed by Dave Meyers, features Grande dancing through surreal cityscapes reminiscent of the movie Inception.
The song itself includes the lyrics: “Right now I’m in a state of mind/ I wanna be in like all the time/ Ain’t got no tears left to cry/ So I’m pickin’ it up, I’m pickin’ up.” It’s quite the ear worm, so expect to hear it a lot in the coming months. Watch the video below.
You’ve probably noticed by now that Grande changed hairstyles, and her fans are going crazy:
Everyone is losing it over Ariana Grande’s low ponytail but when I do my hair like that I just look like an ugly little boy growing his hair out
