Watch Tove Lo’s Frenetic ‘True Disaster’ Video

Last month, Tove Lo released her sophomore album Lady Wood, as well as an accompanying Lemonade-style short film Fairy Dust. The NSFW movie was so eyebrow-raising that fans had to verify thier age on YouTube before watching it.

Fairy Dust included visuals for various album tracks including second single ‘True Disaster,’ which Lo has now released as a standalone video.

Directed by Tim Erem, the video sees the Swedish songbird moving frenetically in the middle of a dark and deserted street after what appears to be ill fated relationship.

Lo told EW this fall, ‘True Disaster’ is about an internal battle waging inside the 28-year-old. Referring to her counterpart, she said, “She plays the role of my self-destructive alter ego,” which brings the battle to a new, even more intimate level.
