Britney Spears Covers Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” On Helium

Britney Spears is still showing she likes to have some fun.

The “Make Me..” singer appeared on the Jonathon Ross Show this weekend to partake in a series of games including a match of Forfeit Tennis, to which the host defeated her. Shortly after that game, Ross introduced his helium challenge and offered her a red balloon full of helium. “

One of us, which means you, has to suck down some helium,” said Ross. “You can sing one of your own, you can sing a popular song, something we all know.” Spears responded with a rather surprised, “Really?”

Having a long rap sheet of her own popular songs that everybody knows, it would seem to be the easier choice, but she opted for a different song. After a long inhale of helium – don’t try this at home – Britney rattled off a few lines from Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” Needless to say, the audience erupted with cheers, and she was left with the smile.

In addition to her silly rendition of Swift’s pop hit, Ross inquired about Spears and her dating life. She went in depth about the trickiness of dating, what it’s like to date a lizard man, and said, “I’m not looking for men right now.” While dating seems to be something on everyone’s list, it’s not on Britney’s. However, she did confess that she wants a “nice guy” but when the time is right. Watch the clip above.

Britney Spears has just released her ninth career studio album Glory available on Apple music here.
