Armin van Buuren a confirmat că DJ-ul Paul Van Dyk a căzut de pe scenă la festivalul a State Of Trance (ASOT) din Utrecht sâmbătă, 27 februarie 2016. Acesta a fost transportat de urgență la spital. În semn se respect pentru prietenul său trancer, Armin van Buuren nu a mai interpretat setul de la final.

În înregistrarea de mai jos (minutul 0:04-0:05) se poate vedea cum Van Dyk a făcut un pas greșit. Pare că nu-și dădea seama pe unde merge.
