Biography:
Peaking at #10 on Billboard Chart's "Next Big Sound", Juliette Ashby is a British singer songwriter whose unique sound, a potent synthesis of R&B, Reggae and Neo-Soul is capturing fans across all genres as it spreads from London to the rest of the world like wild fire. With a sweet, captivating voice enveloped in soothing harmonies, Juliette Ashby draws on her heartaches and real life events to pen commanding poignant lyrics.
Currently in her late 20's she has already met and worked with some of the top players in the music industry and continues to break down barriers and build her fan base independently.
Since her debut EP, Over And Over was released back in October, 2015, she has been widely recognised and invited to perform at venues and events in and around the UK, as well as in the US.
Juliette recently made a very important decision in assisting the directors with facts and events for the OSCAR and BAFTA award-winning documentary "AMY", which explored the life of her best friend and Grammy award winning soul singer, the late Amy Winehouse. Juliette also played a prominent role in the film, which was released in cinemas worldwide and is now the biggest selling British documentary of all time. Juliette describes the experience as one of the most traumatic and challenging experiences of her life. BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music have been constant supporters of Juliette's music, inviting her to perform at many live lounges and playlisting her songs regularly.
The London based singer has wowed crowds at world renowned music festivals including her three stage performances at the Isle of Wight Festival in the UK and SXSW in Austin, Texas, USA where she gave a knock-out performance at Perez Hilton's One Night In Austin Party and was personally handpicked to perform for Russell Simmons and Steve Rifkind’s label launch, ADD52.
Popular demand secured Juliette a licensing deal with VH1 to feature her music on prime-time American TV shows Mob Wives, Single Ladies and Basketball Wives.
