Gabby Logan recently revealed that her husband Kenny Logan once put former Oasis member Liam Gallagher in a headlock during a drunken debate about rugby. The couple met the Oasis star during a holiday in Barbados and had a few drinks with him and his then-wife Nicole Appleton.

Gabby Logan opens up on the incident

After several drinks, Gabby said the pair got into a light-hearted debate about which sport was better out of football and rugby.

She explained:

“Liam was going on about, ‘Oh yeah, I’m not sure about rugby’ and Kenny was saying how strong a rugby player is and said ‘Well I could put you in a headlock and you wouldn’t be able to get out’. Liam said ‘Yeah I would’, so he did.

“Luckily, they were on the right side of being too drunk at that point. You can imagine having a scrap at the Sandy Lane bar with Liam Gallagher would probably have ended Kenny’s public life,” she added, according to The Sun.

Gabby previously told the Sunday Express how the night ended up being a 12-hour-long drinking marathon.

She spilled:

“We started at 3pm and finished at 3am and Liam didn’t disappoint. If you’re going to spend a night drinking with a rock’n’roll star, he absolutely lived up to his image, but let’s just say my hangover the next day wasn’t pleasant.”
