Liam Gallagher Rips Noel After Cheating Accusation

Liam Gallagher attacked his brother Noel Gallagher after a fan accused of his favorite football team Manchester City of cheating after a 2-1 loss to Brentford.

The fan said, “City trying to cheat, you lost as you were, Noel’s better than you to lad.” Liam responded, “Piss flap.”

An older and wiser Robbie Williams revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe on his Apple 1 show this past Wednesday, that his relationship with 90’s mega band Oasis was less than friendly during the height of their fame, with Williams labeling the band “gigantic bullies.”

Until recently, Williams, 48, and Oasis founders and brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have been beefing with each other over the past 20 years. At one stage, Williams challenged Liam to a boxing match at the Brit Awards in 2000.

Today, Williams says he is “glad” that Liam, 50, “exists” and admits that the Oasis lead singer is a “vital” part of the modern music scene.

Williams also went on to say that he is a “huge fan” of the band and praised the trail they blazed on the UK music scene and around the world, praising the “incredible hedonism and reckless abandon and rock ‘n’ roll” that the band symbolized.

“It is part of that competitive nature of me too. And also, they were gigantic bullies too, to the whole industry, everybody in it. And I didn’t like that. And a lot of that still remains inside me. They’re different people now but there’s a lot of me that’s like, “They’re f***Ing bullies, them. I don’t like bullies.” Williams told Zane.

Williams then went on to say that Liam has “changed” over the decades and that the past feud between himself and the brothers benefitted him regardless of the music Oasis made.
“He’s doing fine. And he’s rocking it,” Williams said.

“The great thing about being a fan of Oasis is when Liam comes out with a great album, I can be a fan. The great thing about being resentful towards them is when they don’t, I’m happy. I win on both sides. It’s so genuine.”

“Liam’s last album that he put out, there’s like five or six tracks on there that are just like… I’m so glad he exists. And I’m so glad that he is a personality out there that’s vital, because there’s not many of them about.”

Williams and the Gallagher brothers started as good friends, but quickly fell out when Noel described Williams as “that fat dancer from Take That.”

The relationship between the trio began to repair when Liam reached out on Twitter after hearing news about William’s father’s diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease.
