Alex Van Halen New Studio Photo Revealed

Van Halen drummer and co-founder, Alex Van Halen is particiularly known for not many public apperances and has, understandbly, since the death of his brother and bandmate Eddie Van Halen passed away last October shyed away from the public eye. This Van Halen reunion album idea was revealed this past Summer.

However, Van Halen Rising author Greg Renoff recently shared a photo on social media via Twitter that would be one of the first sightings of Alex since the death of his brother. The legendary Van Halen band member can be seen acclaimed Van Halen producer Donn Landee along with Gary Lux and Dave Donnelly at Donnelly’s DNA Mastering Studio in Hollywood, California. This photo can be viewed below.

In other news regarding Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, who fronted the group from 1985-1996 recently stated how he believes Van Halen is allegedly ‘burying’ his legacy with the group. In conversation with Ultimate Classic Rock, Hagar stated the following.

“Every time we play [“Van Hagar”] stuff, the audience goes crazy,” Hagar explained. “We added [the 5150 album cut] ‘Good Enough’ to the show; we added ‘Humans Being’ from [the soundtrack to] Twister.”

He continued, “We’ve added some really deep tracks recently and, man, it doesn’t matter which song you play — it ain’t just the hits. They’re not just [the popular 1986 Van Halen single] ‘Why Can’t This Be Love.’ You play ‘Humans Being,’ and the place goes fuckin’ nuts. They know every word. So we’re going, Man, this stuff is golden. It’s never gonna die, and we’re not gonna let it.”
