With prior releases ranging from glitch-laden folk to string quartets and “impressionistic rock,” “Life Is But a Dream” is a a breath of fresh folk-tinged pop exuberance, with a dual vocal delivery repeating the aforementioned question with hypnotic allure over the flourishing pop arrangement.
