Kanye West isn’t done with The Life of Pablo. Despite claiming he was dropping another album this summer, and who knows it still might happen, ‘Ye brings the focus back to his last album with a seven-minute long visual for “Wolves.” In case you were wondering, it’s the version with Vic Mensa and Sia.
Whenever Kanye West releases a video, it’s customary to expect something creative and out of the box. An idea that may or may not be easily interpreted, because his genius mind works in ways we don’t understand. For “Wolves,” it’s a combination of a sad Balmain fashion show where everyone is crying as the song progresses, and also shows glimpses of a party to represent the “too wild” side of things. Kim Kardashian also plays a huge role, too.
Sometimes, I wish we had MTV’s Making The Video to go into the vision that Kanye West has with each video. Why black and white? Why cry? Why is Sia looking down the entire time? Plenty of questions to pick apart, but also discuss as an online community and create our own theories. It’s what Kanye would want.
