Joey Purp and Chance The Rapper Want To Know Where The ‘Girls @’ On Their New Upbeat Jam

Joey Purp of Chicago’s is staking his claim as next to blow following the success of fellow SaveMoney crew members Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper. He grabs his hometown homie–who recently released a new Mixtape you might have heard–to join him on his new party-ready single “Girls @.” The Knox Fortune-produced track has the bounce and vibe of an early 2000s Neptunes beat, and both rappers approach the anti-sausage party anthem with the requisite charisma and sense of humor.

Purp’s new mixtape iiiDrops will release on Friday, May 27 and includes features from the aforementioned Vic and Chance, Mick Jenkins, and Saba. In addition to Thelonius Martin and others, Coloring Book contributors, Donnie Trumpet, Knox Fortune, and Peter Cottontale all contribute to the album behind the boards. If you’re unfamiliar with the Westside Chicago native’s work, check out his other equally dope iiiDrops singles, Photobooth and Cornerstone before the new mixtape drops next week.
