Katt Williams is currently touring the country as part of his Conspiracy Theory stand-up show and he had one hell of a theory to share with fans when the tour stopped in Atlanta’s Philips Arena Saturday night.
At the end of his show, the Pimp Chronicles comedian took aim at Kevin Hart after a fan booed the Ride Along actor when Katt mentioned his name. While comparing himself to Richard Pryor, Katt said fans should take whatever issues they have with Kevin with the powers that be because Kevin Hart was just a puppet. And he didn’t stop there:
“I’ve already proven that if the best they got in comedy is Kevin Hart than — don’t you boo a black man working hard, baby. Even if that n****’s a puppet, it’s not his fault. We don’t get mad. Just because I’m better than some black dudes doesn’t mean I’m better than no black dudes. I’m saying if you want to be mad at Kermit The Frog, don’t be mad at Kermit The Frog. Be mad at Jim Henson. Don’t say, ‘F*ck Donald Duck” when you really mean, ‘F*ck Walt Disney.’
“I don’t care nothing that happens to Kevin [Hart], I just wish him the best. I just know that that’s somebody’s hand stuck up that baby, you understand. Oh, we’re a puppet show, boo boo. Please believe it. You’re looking at the only n**** that ain’t.”
Katt went on to insinuate that Kevin’s title of being the top comedian in the business required selling his soul and “sucking another man’s d*ck.” The 44-year-old stand-up comic says he’s proud of the fact that he never had to sell his soul during the length of his career.
“So, since I’ve already officially proven to myself that I really am who Richard Pryor passed his torch to, and that I was able to do it without letting a man suck my d*ck, or sucking a man’s d*ck. I walked in with a virgin a**hole, I walked out with a virgin a**hole. I got the same soul today that I had when I did Pimp Chronicles all the way to the end of Pimp Chronicles.”
That story’s a little different from a 2014 interview Katt gave. Back them, Katt claimed Kevin owed him because he paved the way for his career by “telling Kevin Hart’s people how to make Kevin Hart.”
However, if you’re looking for more of where that came from, you’re in luck because the troubled comedian is running for president. “I come to Atlanta to deliver a message that as soon as I’m done with this tour, I, too, will be running for president of the United States before it’s too late,” Katt declared at the end of his set. Afterwards, Katt was spotted attempting to make contact with our alien overlords.
