We Are The City from Vancouver, Canada, talk about their ‘Above Club’ album recording documentary and making a borscht from Brian Eno in this video interview.
An innovative, exciting band both on and off-stage, We Are The City’s Current Album ‘Above Club’ came out in late 2015, preceded by a full profile-deleting social media blackout from the band.
Of course, this was followed by much donning of disguises and fooling fans into thinking they were recording in Serbia rather than hiding out in their home of Vancouver. The resulting record is a sonically-impressive experimental assault that propels the band forward, strapping us in for the long-haul.
