To celebrate the release of their newest single ‘Your Thoughts’, GØSPEL delivered a beautifully ambient set full of powerful synth, soft vocals, and tight drum beats at their single launch party.
Having released their debut single ‘Bodies’ late last year, GØSPEL released ‘Your Thoughts’ alongside a single launch party at The Brewhouse.
Support came from Loraine James, an electronic artist/producer from London, mixing influences from the likes of Aphex Twin and Mount Kimble, creating a unique sound experience which couldn’t be contained in the small venue. A favourite track was ‘Little Death’ featuring Sadie Sinner, the fourth single from Loraine’s upcoming album and was the perfect opening to the evenings proceedings.

GØSPEL burst onto the stage with an ambience similar to the likes of Chvrches and London Grammar, pulling out all the stops alongside their light display, complimenting the sound they produced. It took a song or two for the crowd and band to really get into the music, but once their newest single ‘Your Thoughts’ started, the audience danced and sung to their penchant for catchy electro-pop rhythms. With shouts from the crowd to play more, the band played their single for a second time, alongside ‘Bodies’: GØSPEL’s debut single of their career. For a small, unsigned band, they definitely showed their potential, and we cannot wait to see what they have in-store for us this year.
GØSPEL will be supporting Volkova Sister at Birthdays in london on 10 May. For more info head here.
