The Levitt Pavilion in Arlington provides more than 50 free concerts each year, often focusing on excellent Texas homegrown talent. But once a year, they bring in a special act to help raise funds that make the free shows possible. This year’s fundraising headliner is Kenny Loggins.
Loggins will perform at the outdoor theater Oct. 3. The Voice’s Aquile opens at 7:30, and Loggins comes on stage at 9pm. General admission tickets are $35 in advance, and $45 at the door. A special VIP package costs $150 to $180. That includes reserved parking, dinner by Blue Mesa, drinks at the Arlington Museum of Art, a silent and live auction, reserved seats, and a Kenny Loggins souvenir program.
Known for such crowd-pleasing hits as Celebrate Me Home, The House at Pooh Corner, Danger Zone, Footloose, This is It, Your Momma Don’t Dance and Whenever I Call You Friend, Kenny Loggins’ four-decade career has brought him from the top of the charts to the toast of the Grammys. He’s had hits on Hollywood’s favorite soundtracks, rocked worldwide stages and found his way into children’s hearts while bringing his soulful, beautiful voice to platinum albums in a variety of genres.
