Shane Harper Showcases Relationships Past In

Get to know Shane Harper. You're bound to hear the name more and more often.

His recently released EP, Like I Did, instantly hooked us and obviously others as well, sweeping the nation and stealing hearts with his mature, purely talented sound. His lyricism skims over that of love, and we couldn't help but wonder if the content was pinned towards his ex-girlfriend, Good Luck Charlie co-star, Bridgit Mendler.

Harper spoke with Seventeen magazine and told them --

"Every song is a glimpse into my life. Some songs are about love and heartbreak. Other songs are about finding something new and finding something exciting. "Satellite" is about hope and making sure to keep that alive in yourself when you're going through difficult times. I want it to be a representation of life. I want it to represent emotions people can be like, "Oh yeah, I've been through that." Because that's what I love about music. Connecting to the story and what the song's saying and how it feels. I really just want people to become a part of it and enjoy the songs as much as I do. That's special for me."

He's recently signed a deal with Capitol Records, kicking up his musicality and shocking with his versatile yet all-encompassing EP. It was a well thought out, heartfelt body of work that started his Capitol deal on just the right note. With over 2 million Facebook likes and a whole lot of fan love, he's without a doubt kept high on our radar.
