There is a proper effortless here, an indie pop sweetness but also an adherence to standard pop templates owing to a chorus that appears from nowhere. ‘Summer Indifference’ definitely has something going on akin to something by All Saints circa their contribution to ‘The Beach’ soundtrack. Harmonies bloom and retract and though there is a fair bit of non-linear action too the vital core of an accessible catchy 3-minutes holds it delicately together. Lora has her idiosyncrasies but they are utterly necessary in a monochrome world. A definite keeper. KH
