Forever getting the spectral feeling from Tyler Bernhardt’s music and ‘Looking Out The Window’ is no exception, a soft folk expression with a minimal of contact in the instrumental department so you may well be thinking Sufjan Stevens at various points. What I like most though is that it is allowed to breath, breaks here and there but still giving us the niceties of a hushed harmony here and there. Tyler has admitted it came to him fast, looking through the pane during quarantine and just appreciating all that we have left behind – at least temporarily. KH
