With members based in Nevada and Illinois, Elliott Waits for No One is one of the hottest new emerging rock bands that is ticking all the boxes with classic and alternative rock critics and fans in the West and Midwest of the United States, and the buzz is poised to spread across the country really fast. Released on the 12th of June last year, during the heat of the Coronavirus pandemic which is still going strong, their 13 track self-titled album “Elliott Waits for No One” reintroduced die-hard rock fans to a sound of rock music that is not just intrinsic but also adventurous stylistically. But this review is focused on one of the top singles on the album, “Megalomaniac”. We’ll be reviewing the full album soon. 

“Megalomaniac” is a pensive, mild track with a hint of psychedelic that, much like the album it came in, is meticulously written and performed from start to finish. It evokes a sense of struggle and despair, and it will take you to a dark place in your mind where your pain is power, and it exists in abound. One of those records that will light a fire in your soul and make you feel like you are ready to take over the world.
