Fan TreeHouse - April 2017 Recap

ApologetiX has Released two singles in the month of April. “Lethargy / Phony Ol’ Lie” and “Dweebs / Turn To Luke” are the latest parodies to hit the listeners’ ears.

A Couple other groups with new singles include Third Day (“Revival”), John Tibbs (“Won’t Let Me Go”), We Are Leo (“Dimensions”), I Am They (“Crown Him”), Ryan Stevenson (“The Gospel”), Sarah Reeves (“Nowhere”), Jamie Grace (“The Happy Song”), and Seventh Day Slumber (“Found”). In addition, NEEDTOBREATHE has released two new versions of “Hard Love” featuring Andra Day and Serena Ryder respectively.

One other single deserves mentioning! Aha Gazelle, the new Reach artist, released “Momma House” featuring MC Fiji, which hit the Viral 50 on Spotify. Also, Derek Minor’s hit single, “Change The World,” has three remixes available now. Lastly, Hillsong Worship released an EP dedicated to their new hit song “What A Beautiful Name,” featuring a total of six different versions of the song.

A couple notable album releases include Matty Mullin’s “Unstoppable,” Kim Walker-Smith’s “On My Side,” and Stu Garrard’sBeattitudes.”

Congratulations to Dead To Self Radio and Fuel Radio for being fully funded through 2017! If you are looking for a little more metal or screams in your radio, then check out the two stations!

In addition, Silversyde and Essence Of Sorrow have campaigns on Indiegogo for new albums. Lastly, We Are Messengers are still raising money for a new bus. (They Gray Havens has a campaign ending today, which has passed its goal.)

Ellie Holcomb performed at the Grand Ole Opry, while About A Mile was featured in a Dude Perfect video. And Winter Jam landed at #4 on Pollstar’s “1Q YTD Worldwide 2017 Ticket Sales Top 100 Tours” chart!

Lastly, Southren Gospel legend Ben Speer passed away on April 7th, 2017. He was the music director for the Gaither Homecoming videos. He was in the ministry for 60+ years.
