An Infectious Combustion of Electronic Pop-Rock From Cosmo Calling

Cosmo Calling is a Male/female act from Manchester, fronted by the dual vocals of Harry Preen and Phoebe Taylor. The duo is joined by Darragh Burke (Guitar) Tom Chapman (Bass) and Gabriel Alexander (Drums), who all met in University and have developed a cult fanbase with appearances at Soup and Kitchen and Gorilla in Manchester. They formed the band following a string of gigs around the country and now release their latest single 'Wait For The Rain': An infectious and upbeat combustion of electronic, pop rock.
The song builds from the beginning with a dark and catchy riff that ignites with the soothing melodies of Taylor/Preen against the backdrop of a roaring rhythm section. It’s a beautifully crafted track that combines multiple textures to create an atmospheric anthem that works perfectly with the swirling backbeats of synths and heartfelt lyrics that climaxes with its aggressive solo that will keep many a listener’s hips swaying.
Cosmo Calling will be heading out on a UK Tour in October.
