Exclusive Interview With R&B Rising Star Kyle Dion

Lyrics reflect the sensuality of the song, "dripping chocolate all over the bedroom, drowning in your softly spoken sounds, I can't live without my brown."
Kyle has been making Music for a few years now, releasing his EP 'Painting Sounds' in 2016 and he shows sleek, maturity in his music despite being the tender age of 23. He says, "I like experiencing different things as I get older so the genres are changing. My EP dropped in 2016 and now I have a different sound, but it's still me. There is an evolution. A lot of Dion's songs are anchored in romance and feelings.
He says, "I knew I could write and sing and I knew I was going to succeed. There is a snowball effect what's happening right now, but it's a lot of hard work". He can't imagine doing anything else and it's not even worth thinking about, "I would be crying in a hole if I didn't do music. I'm built for music. I didn't get into sports, there's nothing interesting to me apart from being in the studio, creating, expressing myself artistically. Maybe in another dimension I'd have done something else. It would be some other form of the arts though."
Kyle Dion is incredibly focused and driven, but of course, there are challenges. He says with determination, "You have to make sure your mind is right. Being an independent artist, it's such an easy world to drop music in, but as long as you're focused and don't compare your journey to anyone, stay in your own lane and persevere. In this industry, you have to ride the wave and do all you can. It's about finding yourself, working hard at yourself, building yourself up and keep going. That's the biggest challenge."
Kyle is constantly in the studio with his producer, "making this wonderful Album, we've been creating it since last spring", but he loves performing and one of his favourite places to perform is in New York. "they are always so welcoming, with open arms and show a lot of energy. They are very open to supporting new artists." He says passionately, "I love performing, it feels like the reason I'm doing this. I enjoy the studio, being able to write and create but I love being on stage, feeling other human energy, seeing fans and connecting with them face to face. You work hard in the studio then you get to do it on stage with different arrangements." He admits, "I never get nervous only excited."
He also loves fashion, "I have so many clothes. Before, I wasn't invested in my style as much as the music, but now I like indulge in fashion, I like to look good on stage with shiny fabrics that catch your eye."
Right now Kyle is in Manchester then Birmingham for the Infinity Tour then heading back to LA and getting ready for the music video for 'Brown'. He says, "I'm taking it as it comes. I'm going to be in NY at the end of Feb for a few shows, then a big summer festival in Tennessee. I'm working to have a great summer and rest of the year." However, it's Dion's album that's mostly on his mind, "I'm still working on it, trying to make it perfect. This is a really important piece I'm gonna give out to the world." He describes it as being very visual and it will "show who I am as a person and an artist, get more people into my world, feel my vibe and who I am."
